Graduated from Master of Fine Art of Huafan University.
Through a well-thought-out scheme, Chen Yan-Ru transforms his personal feelings and emotions into a systematic codes- delicate yet friendly. Chen wants to create post-iconology paintings that are easy, simple with deep meanings behind them.
In 2011,Chen started combining his signature elements into traditional Taiwanese art as an attempt to not only paying attention to the visual composition but to explore and experiment a different form of painting.
